YES OB is a plant oil based lubricant from YES, formulated with organically grown plant oils and butters to provide long lasting lubrication and moisture. Unlike YES WB, this is an oil based formula rather than a water based one, so there are some important differences in how it is used and what it is compatible with.

YES OB is built around a nourishing blend of organically grown sunflower seed oil, shea butter, sweet almond oil, cocoa seed butter, beeswax and vitamin E. It is designed to moisturise and soothe as well as lubricate, and many people prefer it for longer lasting glide that needs less frequent reapplication than a water based product. As with the rest of the YES range, it excludes glycerin, parabens, propylene glycol, petroleum by products, silicone oils and grapefruit seed extract.
Ingredients and safety
This is an oil based lubricant, made with organically grown Helianthus Annuus (sunflower) seed oil, Butyrospermum Parkii (shea butter), Prunus Dulcis (sweet almond oil), Cera Alba (beeswax), Theobroma Cacao (cocoa) seed butter, and Tocopherol (vitamin E).
- Not compatible with condoms. Because it is oil based, YES OB should not be used with natural rubber latex, polyurethane, or polyisoprene condoms, as the oils can cause these materials to weaken and fail. If you need condom protection, choose a water based lubricant such as YES WB instead.
- As with any oil based product, we would also suggest checking the care instructions for silicone toys before use, since oils can affect some silicone materials over time.
