Loving Joy Silk Hybrid Lubricant 30ml blends water based and silicone based ingredients into one silky, long lasting formula. This travel friendly 30ml bottle is ideal for a first try, for topping up a bag, or for anyone who wants the glide of silicone with an easier clean up than a pure silicone lubricant. It works well solo or with a partner.
Why people choose this lubricant
- A silky hybrid glide that lasts noticeably longer than a pure water based lubricant, so you reapply less often.
- Moisturising formula that feels comfortable rather than sticky as it wears.
- Paraben free and formulated to be gentle on the skin.
- Pump action bottle for controlled, mess free application.
- Compact 30ml size that is easy to carry, ideal for trying the range or for travel.
Material and safety
This is a hybrid formula that combines purified water with a proportion of silicone based ingredients (including dimethicone), which is what gives it extra glide and staying power compared with a water only lubricant. The brand states it is vegan friendly, paraben free, and safe to use with condoms. Because the formula contains a silicone component, we would recommend a quick patch test on your silicone toys before regular use, in an inconspicuous area, since some silicone blends can interact with silicone toy materials over time. If in doubt, use a pure water based lubricant with silicone toys instead.
Size and fit
- Bottle size: 30ml / 0.33fl oz
- A compact, pocket and bag friendly size
- Pump action bottle for one handed, mess free dispensing
Getting started
- Apply a small amount to the area or to a toy, there is no need to use more than a couple of pumps to start.
- Reapply during play if things feel like they need a little extra glide, the formula is designed to be topped up.
- If you plan to use it with silicone toys, patch test a small amount somewhere inconspicuous first.
- Wash hands and any toys afterwards with warm water and a fragrance free cleaner.
Storage
Keep the bottle out of direct sunlight and away from sources of heat, and make sure the pump cap is closed fully between uses to keep the formula at its best. Stored this way in a cool, dry place, the lubricant should keep well for a good while after opening; check the batch code on the bottle for an exact best before date.
Delivery
Every order ships in plain, unbranded packaging with fast UK delivery, so nothing on the outside of the parcel gives away what is inside.
Frequently asked questions
Is it compatible with condoms? Yes, the brand states this formula is condom safe.
Will it stain fabric? As with most silicone containing lubricants, it can leave a slight mark on some fabrics, so it is worth keeping a towel handy and washing bedding as normal afterwards.
Is it safe to use with toys? It works well with most toy materials, but because it contains a silicone element we recommend a patch test on silicone toys first rather than assuming full compatibility.
Why choose the hybrid formula over a plain water based lubricant? The silicone component gives a silkier feel and a longer lasting glide, while still rinsing away more easily than a pure silicone lubricant.
Is 30ml enough to get started? Yes, it is a great size for trying the formula, for travel, or as a top up bottle alongside a larger size at home.
